The Warkworth man charged with accessory after the fact and second degree murder in the death of a woman from the community could be indicted for first-degree murder.
Charges were laid against 35-year-old Marc Vickers in June of last year after the body of Michelle Barnoski was found buried on her property, two weeks after she disapeared.
Vickers’ co-accused, a 15-year-old boy appeared at the second day of Vickers’ preliminary hearing in Cobourg Court yesterday, and he will return to remand court tomorrow, when a date will be set for a third preliminary hearing for Vickers.
The crown has also asked for an indictment of first degree murder in the case of the youth, whose case begins with a hearing this October.
