Brighton is hoping for federal funding for restoration of Hilton Hall…the former Brighton Township Municipal office. 40-thousand dollars was set aside in the 2009 budget for a new roof but other work was required that out it way over budget. CAO Gayle Frost says 160-thousand dollars worth of work is needed on the heritage building. The town has applied for 120-thousand dollars from the Community Adjustment Fund.
