A cooler than normal June appears to be in the cards in Quinte.
Evironment Canada Senior Climatologist Dave Phillips told our newsroom the agency issued its three-month outlook for June through August today, and the first month doesn’t sound very promising.
It will be cooler than normal in June, with near usual amounts of precipitaton, because the jet stream is too far south..
Phillips says if we can make it through June, then July and August should be warmer than usual in the local region, with near normal rainfall.
