Some Hastings County officials are concerned about changes to provincial safety and disability standards that will be costly for the municipalities.
Reeve of Centre Hastings Tom Deline hopes the province will provide some extra funding before the changes come into effect next year. Deline says his municipality has already identified some changes that need to be made. He says it will cost his municipality about half a million dollars even if the province comes up with some funding as well.
