Almost half-a-million dollars in work at the main mess hall at CFB Trenton is about to begin. The Yukon Galley is getting an upgrade to its electrical system and a new generator. Captain Rick Layton says the 491-thousand dollars contract was awarded to Lakeland Multi-Trade of Cobourg this week. There will be minimal disruption at the mess hall while the work is carried out.
