Quinte West still wants to pony up….and, build a new racetrack and slots parlour…should Belleville’s bid fail. and, Quinte West Mayor John Williams told Council, last night, he’s taking things to the next level and will be meeting with the C-A-O of Ontario Lottery & Gaming within the coming weeks to discuss the possibility. Williams says Quinte West has always been behind picking up the project…should things not work out with Baymount in Belleville. The proposed location for a track in Quinte West is just off the 401 near Trenmur Lake.
