A bit of a slowdown in building activity in Prince Edward County after two fairly busy months.
Chief Building Official Garry Davis says 73 permits for projects worth 2.6-million dollars were approved in April, down from over four-million dollars in both February and March.
The value of construction activity so far this year in Prince Edward is 12.6-million dollars, compared to 33-million at this time in 2008.
However, Davis says the figure, although lower than a year ago, is on line with the first four months of 2006 and 2007.
