No final money figure yet, but lots of positives coming back about the first annual Change for the Environment in Belleville and Quinte West.
“Change for the Environment” Founder Greg White says the online donations of over one-thousand dollars, just part of the contributions made between Thursday and Sunday, are an indication of the local support.
He says he was impressed with the local businesses and musicians who gave of their time to help the event, and he expects to have a final donation total within a few days.
All money donated in Belleville and Quinte West will stay in the community for tree planting and other environmental projects.
