There may be some relief in sight for people trying to find parking in the area of Belleville General Hospital…and for residents of the area concerned about motorists parking on their streets. City administrator Steve Hyndman says some recommendations are being developed regarding the problem. A staff report to city council last November showed that construction at B-G-H has increased on-street parking. The Traffic Committee will look at the traffic rules, deciding if they should be tightenerd up in some areas, relaxed in others, improving the situation for the area residents. Hyndman says the committee will also look at ways to help fthe Belleville hospital improve its parking situation as well.
