Quinte West Council cost local taxpayers almost 300 thousand dollars last year.
After all expenses and salaries were added up, Quinte West Council had 292 thousand dollars in salaries and expenses.
Naturally, Mayor John Williams earned the most money, at 46 thousand 500 dollars, including over 800 dollars in expenses.
Craig Desjardins, who sits on Police Board, which pays 33 hundred dollars a year, took home the most money as a Councillor, at just over 25 thousand. Doug Whitney took home the least pay, at 17 thousand 350 dollars, claiming no expenses.
