Warkworth Institution remains under lockdown following the discovery of contraband in the medium-security facility.
A jail spokesperson says they’ll probably keep the lockdown in effect until tomorrow or later…pending their investigation.
Officials say all normal operations stopped for safety reasons…while what they call “an exceptional search for contraband” takes place.
