Contract talks between the Hastings-Prince Edward School board and its elementary teachers’ union will continue into next month.
Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario local president Karen Fisk says more discussions were held yesterday, for the second time this month, and she’s expecting a complete offer when both sides get back together on February tenth.
She wouldn’t comment on specifics of yesterday’s meeting.
The board’s seven-hundred elementary teachers have been working under the terms of their old contract, which expired at the end of August, 2008.
