Governor General Michaelle Jean has named three personnel based at C-F-B Trenton to the Order of Military Merit.
The three are among 56 Canadian regular and reserve forces members to be honoured in Ottawa this friday.
The Eight Wing recipients are Wing Administration Officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Debbie Miller, Lieutenant-Colonel Mario Fortin of the Air Warfare Centre, and Master Warrant Officer Giselle Tanney of Two Air Movements Squadron.
Miller and Fortin were named as Officers of the Order, and Tanney was named as a Member of the Order. The Order of Military Merit recognizes distinctive merit and exceptional services displayed by the men and women of the Canadian Forces.
