Ducks Unlimited has purchased land to expand Belleville’s popular H.R. Frink Center.
Ducks Unlimited, in partnership with Quinte Conservation, has purchased 100 acres of land south of Thrasher Road, 90 acres of which is provincially significant wetland. With the purchase, the H.R. Frink Center now totals 500 acres.
Ducks Unlimited believes the now protected wetland will help ensure a healthy waterfowl population.
Each year, some 15 thousand school children visit the Frink Center.
