Construction in Belleville slowed down last month, in comparison with November of last year.
Last month, the city issued 54 building permits for a total value of 3.9 million dollars.
Last year in November, Belleville racked up 8 million dollars in construction activity. The big difference was that last year there was much more activity in the government sector.
So far this year, Belleville has issue 53.5 million dollars worth of building permits, compared with over 129 million for the same period last year.
