A Quinte West Councillor is not in favour of a Belleville City Councillor’s push to look at privatizing Hastings and Centennial Manor Long Term Care homes.
Belleville’s Bob Dolan may bring the issue up at the next Long Term Care committee meeting.
Quinte West’s Paul Kyte told council last night that both homes are being run well, and in the best interests of the communities.
The Long Term Care Committee meets November 12th.
