All it took was 8:41 to turn a close game into a rout.
The Georgetown Raiders scored 5 times in that short span as they beat the hometown Wellington Dukes 7-2 to tie the Ontario Junior Hockey League championship 2-2. Matt McJannet scored 4 times for Georgetown including two with the man advantage. Wellington has had no answer for the Raiders power play which has connected on 8 of their last 12 chances. However coach John Druce says something else is missing from his team.
Jackson Arcan and Andrew Barbeau scored for the Dukes. Georgetown outshot Wellington 42-41.
The series is now a best of 3 with the Raiders regaining home ice advantage. Game 5 is in Georgetown tomorrow night (7:20 on CJBQ) with game 6 Sunday at 7:30 at the Essroc Arena.
