Three beaches in the Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health coverage area are unsafe to swim in this long weekend.
According to the weekly water test results, Wellington Beach on Wellington Bay, Frankford Park Beach on the Trent River and Centennial Park Beach in Deseronto, on the Bay of Quinte, are all unsafe due to high levels of bacteria.
Swimming at any of these beaches this weekend could lead to health complications like rashes, nausea, vomiting and more.
The water will be tested again next week and results will be updated.
