The City of Quinte West’s new Quench Buggy will make its debut this weekend.

The mobile water distribution centre will be shown off at Frankford Riverfest on Saturday, so people can refill their reusable water bottles and stay hydrated.

The buggy features eight water stations, which include taps for filling bottles and water fountains.

Along with being used at community events, the buggy will also be able to be used in the event of a boil water advisory.

The city also unveiled its new valve truck on Thursday, which will make maintenance more efficient and reduce damage to city infrastructure.
