When the paperwork is complete, and if Belleville council approves, the Belleville Downtown Improvement Area Board of Directors will almost double in size.
Thursday, the board passed the recommendation from its Office Manager Hazel Lloyst and approved six new members.
They are Dianne Bartlett of Upfront Gallery and Home Shop, Leone Skinner of GLI Promotions, Tara VanDijk of the Belleville Club, Nicola Robertson of Diamond Physiotherapy, Lorne McDougall of McDougall Insurance, and David Lytle of Century Village.
Lloyst said the new members bring a wide range of skills and interests to the board and are representative of all age groups.
When the new members join, the BDIA board will consist of 13 members.
