The Madoc Township property, connected to a man Toronto Police are calling a serial killer, has now been cleared from their investigation.
In a message to Quinte News Wednesday, Toronto Police confirmed that the Madoc site, believed to be connected to Bruce McArthur, who has been charged with five counts of murder, has been released back to the owners.
Police with dogs had been combing the property at 2598 Cooper Road, Eldorado for more than a week.
Police continue to investigate the 30 properties where 66-year-old McArthur visited as a contract gardener.
Some human remains have been found, in huge flower pots, at at least one of those properties.
