The annual Consecon Community Day is getting ready to roll on July 30.
Now in its 6th year, organizer Janet Battaglio says the jam packed event has something for everyone including the soap box derby, a street dance, model airplane and art demonstrations, a barbecue, pig roast, horse-drawn wagon rides and a petting zoo.
The ever popular Soap Box Derby is a huge draw to the event.
Derby organizer Nick Nowitski boasted it has grown with more competitors coming from across Ontario so everyone can expect some big changes this year.
He said the CSBRA is also bringing its electronic timing system, something to help make the times more accurate and the event even more fun.
Racers will also be divided into two age categories 7-10 and 11-15 this year. Registration starts at 10:30 and competitors take on the Mill Street Hill at 12 p.m.
The whole day of events kicks off at 8 a.m.
