THINK before making kind offers!!

People living in Madoc can breathe a little sigh of relief.

Earlier this week, we reported that a suspicious male in a van approached a 15 year old girl twice in downtown Madoc asking if he could offer a ride home.

The girl declined the offer, and OPP were notified.

Central Hastings OPP now say the male in the van was a teenager from Madoc, and police say his intent was NOT malicious.

He received a lecture, though, on how his behaviour might alarm some people.
