A closed meeting investigation has been completed in Centre Hastings.
A resident made a complaint about a closed meeting at the end of May.
The complaint alleged that Centre Hastings council did not divulge, in a general way, why they were going into a closed session.
The complainant also believedĀ one of theĀ matters, which involved potential legal action, should not have been discussed in secret.
An investigator released his report recently, concluding that council was wrong not to give the general topic of discussion for the meeting.
But, the investigator did rule that the potential of litigation was strong enough to have the matter discussed in a closed meeting.
