Warkworth Institution locked down

Warkworth institution is locked down again… and visits to the prison have been suspended.

Acting Assistant Warden of Management Services, Bob Cameron, says a number of contraband items were found in the prison’s common areas… leading to the lockdown.

A thorough search of the facility is underway… and the prison will be re-opened once management determines it’s safe to do so.
