“Stuff The Bus” for needy kids

The United Way of Quinte’s “Stuff The Bus” event gets underway tomorrow.

The annual program collects grade-appropriate school supplies for needy kids to help them get set for another year at school.

Good backpack coordinator Jessie Ward says more than 1,000 kids are already registered for this year’s program.

“Stuff the Bus” goes tomorrow from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. outside of Staples at the Quinte Mall.
