String of thefts from vehicles in QW

Quinte West OPP are asking the public for information about several thefts from vehicles in Trenton.

Overnight they responded to seven different thefts from vehicles around Fourth Ave.

Several items were removed from unlocked vehicles including a GPS, a Blackberry cell phone, a large number of CDs and some loose change.

One of the vehicles received cuts to the seats and a second vehicle had its convertible roof slashed.

Police are reminding car owners not only to lock their vehicles when not in use, but to also remove valuables from the vehicle when its left unattended.
