Search discontinued near Ajax

Authorities have called off the search for a 26 year old Ajax man who went missing while canoeing on Lake Ontario Sunday night.
Another man who was in the canoe swam to shore.
A Hercules aircraft and Griffon chopper from CFB Trenton were involved in that search along with the Coast Guard and police.
Meanwhile, search and rescue personnel at the base were also involved with overturned, and grounded boats around Burlington and Lake Erie on the weekend
