Rollovers seem the thing to do

Posted 9 months ago

Tue, Aug 7th, '12 - 8:45 am

It was a busy weekend for emergency responders in the Quinte region.

There were several accidents, most of them rollovers on the 401 over the weekend.

Quinte West Fire Chief John Whalen says firefighters had to extricate three people in two different accidents along the 401 on the weekend.

They also had to use the jaws of life at a 2 vehicle accident on the Glen Miller Road Sunday afternoon, near the Johnstown Road.

There was also a rollover on old highway 2, east of Deseronto yesterday morning.

Luckily, there were no serious injuries.
