Not only is the Sandbanks Provincial Park extremely busy, it’s become quite a media darling as well.
The Sandbanks was recently a hot topic of discussion on CTV’s popular Marilyn Denis show.
That program’s viewers named the Sandbanks Canada’s best beach.
And there’s recently been a big feature article in a Montreal daily newspaper.
Meanwhile, the Canadian Automobile Association has named the Sandbanks as one of the top 5 beaches in the country.

I am very glad to hear this. Let the big city folk come on down, spend their money, beat each other up, and have a blast at the Sandbanks.
There’s much nicer beaches around here that we, the locals, prefer. I’m not going to name names, but I will say they are less crowded, populated by a nicer class of people, and are more enjoyable for the family. So let’s keep them our little secret, okay?
My thoughts exactly Stu.
Stu: I very much agree with that statement. Not only are there nicer beaches, you don’t have to pay to access them either!
Agree with Stu.
What I’ve noticed is that there is alot of freakin lazy people there! That can’t even walk 5 ft to the trash can to use it. They just throw their garbage on the ground and leave ..Disgusting! Its a shame! So let them have it..garbage and zebra mussle shells…Enjoy!
well then i must have gone there on a different day then you guys, other than 16 bucks being a little steep to get in, i found it gorgeous!!! it was like being in another country, and the beach was very clean
