Napanee house fire causes major damages

Firefighters in Napanee are investigating a serious house fire that caused $300,000 worth of damages yesterday afternoon.

The department responded to the fire on Thomas Street West just before 5 o’clock.

It took six trucks and 24 crew members about an hour and a half to finally douse the fire.

The occupants that were home at the time of the fire evacuated the home with no injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
