Charges for drinking & boating in Marmora

Two Marmora are facing charges after boating with alcohol on board.

Central Hastings OPP responded to a complaint of careless boating near the public launch on Crowe River in Marmora just before 7 o’clock Wednesday night.

Charged with careless boating, providing alcohol to someone under 19 years old and having an open alcohol container is 21-year-old Chris Payer of Marmora.

He has a court day later this month.

An 18-year-old male from Marmora, who cannot be identified, is charged with drinking as a minor.
