Busy night for County firefighters

Prince Edward County firefighters were busy overnight.

First, they dealt with a single vehicle rollover at County Road 5 and Fry Road around 7:00 last night.

Luckily, the driver suffered only minor injuries.

And, at 3:00 this morning, County firefighters were called out to a structure fire in Delhi Park, off of York Street in Picton.

A former shop for the sewage treatment plant was on fire.

They had it out in two hours.

The wooden building was vacant and only partially damaged.

No one was injured, and the cause is under investigation.
