Children should be splish splashing in Brighton while the weather’s still hot this summer.
This week, Brighton council awarded a contract to build a splashpad at King Edward Park.
The job was won by a Paris company, ABC Recreation, at a cost of 241 thousand dollars.
That’s about 80 thousand less than the donation from an anonymous donor.
Mayor of Brighton, Mark Walas, says it’s hoped the splashpad will be up and running by the Labour Day weekend.
