Quinte Conservation is doubling it’s staff for up to sixteen weeks, thanks to a number of employment grants.
Loyalist College Community Employment Services, The Ministry of Natural Resources and Human Resources and Skills Development Canada all contributed grants to Q-C, allowing them to hire 20 students to work during the summer months.
Communications and Marketing Specialist Jennifer May-Anderson says the students will work various jobs, like camp councillors, watershed report card technicians and campground attendants among others.
