There’s a giant mural coming to Trenton and every Trenton resident – past and present – is invited to participate in it’s creation.
Quinte West council approved the project after Prescott artist Charles Street made a presentation yesterday.
The mural, which will be approximately 8 feet tall and 64 feet wide, will be a master image composed of thousands of smaller images of people in the community.
Trent Port Historical Society will help choose the master image for the mural.
A location for the mural isn’t set in stone but the east facing wall of the community policing building has been suggested as an option.
A photo gathering campaign will start closer to the fall and pictures will be included for a nominal fee.
