Early morning incident in Belleville, 1 dead

3:05 pm UPDATE: Belleville Police say a post-mortem will be conducted on the 29 year old Belleville man tomorrow. No other details have been released.

Belleville Police have confirmed one man is dead after an altercation at Bridge and Coleman Streets early this morning.

Officers were called to the scene by Paramedics, who took the victim to hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Unconfirmed reports to our newsroom say the man had his neck broken in a fight after leaving a nearby bar.

Belleville Police are asking anyone who may have information on this incident to contact them or Crimestoppers.
