@Connie, it wasn’t your son. I know cuz it WAS A FRIEND OF MINE
This is very sad.
@Connie – as a mother myself, I understand your anxiety, but rest assured, it was not your son. I know who it is. Thoughts and prayers to his family.
I understand the need for people to know details of events reported in the news but I believe it is more important to respect the process as someones family needed to be notified. Police need to gather evidence without added speculation or accusation.
I was down there after it happened it was not a pretty sight i still havent got the name yet i probally know him i hope i dont but my condolences goes to his family
globen-No one said who it was, they wanted to say their piece about a lost friend and ease a mothers worried mind at the same time… nothing wrong with any of the comments here. No one made any accusations either so I dunno where you got that from.
Sad:( I hope they catch whom ever did this!!
Most people around town know the name of the man killed. He was a friend of mine as well! I don’t want to give out his name out of respect for his friends and family. However, I will say that as far as I know, nobody has been arrested as of yet and many names as to who the other guys are have been flying around.
Was not replying specifically to any posted comments. Just making a general statement in relation to this and the numerous other tragedies that have occurred in recent months. As someone who lost a relative in a tragic way having the media release information is not always helpful to those left behind and may not be wanted……………just a personal opinion and respectful of all others………
I think our city needs a new name! I don’t think people think “Belleville The Friendly City” anymore. Come to think of it, I haven’t seen that sign in a long time. I just remember it was there years ago…
My heart goes out to the family of this man. Now a young child has to grow up without his father. So sad!!
