The Southeast Local Health Integration Network is looking over its budget to ensure they have spending under control for the coming year.
The provincial government has handed down a 2.1-per cent increase, the lowest the health care sector has seen in years.
LHIN CEO Paul Huras says the world’s economy is a major factor.
He adds they’ve seen as much as double digit increases, but that may be a thing of the past.
LHIN’s governance finance committee will gather Wednesday morning at 9:30 at their Adam Street office.
