A 31 year old man from Calgary faces impaired and possession of cocaine charges.

Looks like ‘professional’ truck drivers don’t exist anymore.
Oh trust me, professional “truck drivers” do exist, thousands and thousands of them, unfortunately no one talks about them on a regular basis, just the few rotten apples in the barrel. My husband and I drove for over 15 years, no tickets, no accidents, no substance abuse.. safe driving awards each and every year of our career…. so please don’t paint them all with the same brush…… as if this was true your goods would never arrive…….. they just need tougher screening and higher standards to keep the bad ones off the road……..
I agree with Catherine, good truckers do exist! Like the one that stopped to check on me and my bus after the bus was hit by an out of control car in a blizzard! The trucker was a great comfort. Even called me later that day to make sure I was okay. AND yes higher standards and tougher screening would help! Something has to be done!
Every profession has bad apples. Cops, teachers, truckers…
