The hot dry weather has not been a friend to farmers, but it’s been great for business at Sandbanks Provincial Park.
Sandbanks Superintendent Robin Reilly says it looks as though there willll be another attendance record set at the park this year.
Reilly says for just May and June, the number of day users was up by close to 40 percent over the same period last year.
And, as usual, the campsites at Sandbanks are always full.
Last year, there was a record number of campers and beach-goers at the park, totaling 650,ooo.
Superintendent Reilly says he wouldn’t be surprised if attendance this year hits 700,000.

Will be part of these numbers next week. Can anyone tell if it’ll be algae soup at the Outlet beach like last August.
