BGH to get new electronic filing system

A new electronic filing system at Belleville General Hospital will help streamline the way patient records are dealt with.
In October of next year, instant electronic filing of patients discharge summaries and diagnostic imaging reports will begin.
The $1.4-million system is expected to make file sharing faster and cut down on errors as well as paper use.
The system will also be put to use in Picton and Trenton following the Belleville installation.
