15 storeys in downtown Belleville

A golf club owner and a member of the downtown Belleville task forces wants to be a major player in the downtown.

Brian Magee has plans to build a 15 storey, 97 unit condominium building just south of the new consolidated courthouse between Bridge and Dundas West.

An Intelligencer report says Magee would like to start building next year.

The units would be between 12 and 15 hundred square feet, and the first 2 floors of the building would be for parking..

A public meeting on the condo plans will be held August 7th at city hall.
