Tweed art classes get $25,000 boost

Tweed’s Art in the Library programme now has a sponsor.
A spokesperson says the programme has received $25,000 through the federal government’s New Horizons for Seniors grant.
Seniors with artistic talents will teach younger people in classes to run throughout the summer.
The public is invited to contact the Tweed Library for more information.
