The City of Quinte West wants to be dealt in to the slot parlour game.
Last night, Quinte West council voted to ask the Ontario Lottery Gaming Commission to expand it’s zone where slots would be allowed to include most of Quinte West.
Currently, only a small portion of Quinte West is in the gaming zone, while all of Belleville is already included.
Municipalities get up to 5 percent of gross revenues that a gambling house brings in.
