Health board wants more $$$ details

The Hastings and Prince Edward Board wants to see more details of its multi-million dollar budget process.

Board member and Belleville Councillor Jack Miller told a meeting yesterday that municipal members represent their community, but also have a responsibility to the board.

He does not want to vote on items unless he sees more details.

Board Chair Beth Campbell says members had asked for information in the past and didn’t get it.

Administrator Val Dunham, who is new in the position, told the Board that she is making changes to the process and there will be no surprises for board members.
