Consecon bear sighting confirmed

Prince Edward OPP say a black bear cub and its mother have twice been spotted this week by residents of the Consecon area.
Bear sightings are rare in the county because bears are not native to the island.
The OPP are warning people not to approach bears. If you have concerns you can call the Bear Wise hotline at 1-866-514-2327 or visit Bear Wise online.
