Belleville woman caught with cocaine

A 47-year-old Belleville woman has been charged with drug possession after a traffic stop in Cobourg.

Northumberland OPP stopped a green Dodge Neon on the 401 near Division street and found the driver didn’t have a validated permit.

Further investigation found a quantity of cocaine in the vehicle.

Diane Holland of Belleville was charged with possession of cocaine and driving while suspended.

She has a court date in Cobourg on July 18.
