CORRECTION: The men are due in Ontario Provincial Court, Belleville, on July 26.
Manslaughter and liquor charges have been laid against the former owners of the Angry Beaver Bar & Grill following a fatal head on crash on the 401 back in February.
The cars of 23-year old Korin Howes of Belleville and 23-year old Shaina Harrison of Oshawa collided in the eastbound lanes and both women were pronounced dead at the scene.
After an “extensive investigation”, provincial police have charged 33-year-old David Stoll of Bloomfield and 32-year-old Philip Sztejnmiler of Ottawa with two counts each of manslaughter by committing an unlawful act, encouraging drunkenness on a licensed property, permitting the use of narcotics on licensed property and others.
They were released on promises to appear with court dates today.
