A big re development along the Trent River in downtown Trenton is close to getting underway.
Quinte West engineer, Tim Colasante, says design work on the “back of Front” re-development on Front Street is almost done.
Preliminary designs shows interlock brick, tables, chairs, benches, a stage, and various kinds of landscaping, along with a tourist kiosk.
Public washrooms will also be considered for the area behind Tomasso’s Casual Dining.
It’s hoped construction can begin in early September.

Can they affored some paint for the bridge ?
Can they afford some paint for that bridge?
Its such a shame more isn’t being done. The Trent River is one of Ontarios best rivers and we own the mouth of it! Let’s get some docks on the parks, and restaurants. Let’s light it up. A River festival. More parks! Condos and shops instead grocery stores. We’re missing the boat – pun intended!
@Kevin – I was with you up until you mentioned condo’s. No thanks to condo’s they are ruining the world.
